Refrigerators not cooling during summer heat waves
Why it happens here
When outdoor temperatures climb into the 90s, your refrigerator has to work harder to maintain internal temperatures. Compressors run longer, condenser coils get hotter, and any weak component is more likely to fail. This is our busiest season for not-cooling calls in Ida Lee.
Our approach
We test compressor amp draw, clean the condenser coils, and check the condenser fan on every summer call. If the compressor is running hot, we address the root cause instead of just replacing a part. That prevents repeat failures.
